About Bello
Bello is an AI receptionist for service businesses whose owners and crews are on a job when the phone rings. This page explains what the product does, what it does not do, and how we handle evidence.
Why Bello exists
Most service businesses lose work for a boring reason: nobody was free to pick up. The owner is under a sink, the crew is on a roof, and the caller moves to the next name on the list. Voicemail rarely fixes it, because a homeowner with a leak is not waiting for a callback.
Bello answers those calls in your business name, works out what the job is, books it on your calendar when it can, and texts you a summary. It is not trying to replace the relationship you have with your customers — it is trying to make sure the first thirty seconds of that relationship actually happens.
What Bello does and does not do
We would rather set expectations correctly than win a signup and disappoint you in week one.
- Answers inbound calls 24/7 in your business name, including several calls at the same time
- Asks your qualifying questions: job type, urgency, address, access, rough budget
- Books appointments into a connected Google Calendar using your availability rules
- Transfers or escalates to you or an on-call tech when the call needs a human
- Sends and receives SMS and MMS, and turns voicemail into readable text
- Texts you a call summary so you can decide what to do next without listening to a recording
- Handles calls in English and Spanish
- Diagnose a technical problem or tell a caller what is wrong with their system
- Give firm prices unless you configure exact rules for it to follow
- Replace emergency services — urgent safety calls are directed to the right emergency number
- Pretend to be a human if a caller asks directly whether they are speaking to a person
- Make promises about timelines your schedule cannot support
How we handle evidence
Bello is a young product. We have no published customer benchmarks, no case studies, and no proprietary dataset, and we do not invent them. Every number on this site comes from a named third-party source with a link, and we describe what that study actually measured rather than stretching it to fit a sales point.
Where a figure is old, narrow, or vendor-published, we say so on the page. Where an example is illustrative — like the revenue-at-risk calculator on the homepage — we label it as an estimate driven by your own inputs, not a result Bello has produced for anyone.
How we work
- Keep your number
Bello works through call forwarding. You keep the number on your trucks, your signage, and your Google Business Profile.
- Flat monthly pricing
Plans are $125, $199, and $299 per month with a three-week free trial, so a busy month does not turn into a surprise per-minute bill.
- Configured to your business
Service area, hours, job types, qualifying questions, escalation rules, and what Bello is allowed to say about price are all yours to set.
- Honest escalation
When Bello is unsure, it stops guessing and hands the call to a person or takes a message with everything you need to call back.
Frequently asked questions
Who is Bello for?
Service businesses where the people who do the work cannot also answer the phone: plumbing, HVAC, electrical, landscaping, general contracting, and similar trades. It fits best when missed calls are real, recurring lost revenue.
Does Bello tell callers it is an AI?
Yes, if they ask. Bello answers professionally in your business name and does not claim to be a human being.
Do you publish customer results?
Not yet. We have no verified customer benchmarks, so we do not advertise any. When we have data we can stand behind, we will publish it with methodology.
How do I contact Bello?
Email abook5089@gmail.com, or book a demo from the homepage and we will walk through your call flow with you.
